Charlie Lougheed is a multi-faceted Cleveland innovator, entrepreneur and investor. His expertise spans technology, healthcare, financial services, telecommunications and education.
In 2009, he was a co-founder of Explorys, a spin-off from the Cleveland Clinic. Explorys became a leader in healthcare big data and value-based-care analytics, spanning hundreds of thousands of healthcare providers and 60 million patients across the U.S. It was sold to IBM in 2015. Charlie also co-founded Everstream, a media streaming company that was acquired by another company.
He has also served as a financial services innovator involving online banking and consumer analytics for KeyBank, National City Bank and PNC. Prior to that, Charlie served as Lead Consultant with the Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group.
Charlie has spoken at industry events at The White House, Harvard Business School Alumni Club, Cleveland Clinic Innovation Summit and many more. Charlie is a principal partner in 23Bell, an invention capital fund.
He is also very involved in community activities. He is founder and Chairman of the Lougheed Initiative Foundation, Vice Chairman of Friends of Breakthrough Schools, Chairman of the Galen Foundation and PeopleBeatingCancer.org, Co-Chair of Blockland and is a member of the North Coast Angel Fund.
